With spread of mobile devices and big data solutions' ability to analyze large data sets, organizations are seeking to leverage more and more data.  However, with increased data sets, decision making speed may actually slow down because of the challenges with integrating and looking for actionable intelligence, while also trying to assess to quality of the information and insights.
Data.com faces a similar challenge in how to leverage a large community of end users to curate a business contact asset and has invested in leveraging a combination of big data analytics and machine learning in its patent pending "fact and assertion driven data quality assessment techniques"
In this session, Mehmet Orun, Data.com's Director of Data Quality will describe how his organization has deployed automation to aid in data stewardship activities, starting with the business problem, all the way to evaluating trust level of data sources on an ongoing basis.
